A great opportunity at Taormina Gourmet (TG) Learning. Among the unmissable lessons addressed to professionals in oenology, tourism and gastronomy, one will be conducted by a leading international expert, Marco Simonit, who together with Pier Paolo Sirch created Simonit & Sirch, the only group accredited and structured in the world training sector for personnel in charge of manual pruning of vineyards and selection of sprouts.

Simonit will offer the TG Learning participants who will enroll in the course, an extraordinary lesson to be held on Thursday 24 October at the Pietradolce winery, between Solicchiata and Passopisciaro, on the northern slope of Etna. From the power point to the scissors in his hands, Simonit will hold a theoretical part in the morning from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and a practical part in the vineyard in the afternoon thus addressing the theme of "The longevity of the vineyards: the Simonit & Sirch method interpreted in the great vine territories in the world".

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

But for those who are regularly registered with the oenologists and/or agronomists the cost will be 90 euros. Those who will attend the course, will have free access to the Taormina Gourmet tasting counter, that will be held on October 27th and 28th at the Hotel Villa Diodoro, in addition to a 30 percent discount on masterclasses, subject to availability of places. Registration no later than August 30th will guarantee participants a 40 percent discount on the course price. Limited availability.
